Over 100 Raccoons Swarm Woman’s Home Looking for Food

Over 100 racoons descended on a woman’s home in Washington state “demanding food” and forced the woman to call the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office to report she couldn’t get inside her Poulsbo home, according to Yahoo.

The incident happened back on October 3rd and the woman says that the invasion forced her into her car as she awaiting for help to arrive. The woman admitted to feeding the racoons as far back as 38 years and added that it wasn’t until a few weeks ago that the problem started to escalate.

Authorities say that she has been quoted upwards of $500 per animal to trap and relocate the racoons and referred her to the Washington State Department of Fish & Wildlife to help find a solution to the ‘pesky problem.’

According to a KCSO report a deputy at the scene estimated there to be up to 100 individual animals at the property.
