Atlanta’s strong odds on paper to land Amazon’s $5 billion second quarters does not appear to be translating into real-world odds.
The Wall Street Journal has Atlanta trailing Dallas and Boston in the HQ2 derby. The Big A is tied with Washington D.C. and Seattle at No. 3. Competitor New York Times famously picked Denver as the site for the 8 million square-foot HQ2.
