Travel to Atlanta, Helen Oktoberfest, and the Cottage Winery in Georgia – Atlanta Video

In this video my wife joins me in Atlanta. We do some sightseeing, attempt to overnight at the Cottage Winery, part of the Harvest Hosts Program, and visit Helen during Oktoberfest. Except for a wonderful time in Atlanta, nothing happened as expected or according to plan

We travel aboard a 2015 Winnebago Micro Minnie 1706FB travel trailer. You are more than welcome to tag along in our travels by subscribing to this channel.

If you didn’t enjoy then simply don’t watch his work but please don’t be negative to a super nice guy please.
I stayed at the Peachtree in Atlanta and it’s so neat but also so expensive.
Robert do you ever add a fuel stabilizer such as stp and if so what type? I do use seafoam product and it does help with mileage.i think seafoam is the best fuel addive.
Coca-cola museum is interesting in Atlanta.
This has to be one of your longest videos you’ve ever made and great work.
Thank you and stay hydrated my friend

  6. Greg video my friend I like to Atlanta Georgia I have some nice houses but downtown Atlanta I like it but you got to be patient with those traffic ??

  7. What was that office lady doing at your RV site after you left? It is at 21:54 mark

  8. Another great video Robert. Even though this trip had its challenges for you guys, for us it was very interesting and informative. Atlanta looks to be an amazing city…… Thank you for the upload.

  9. Good to see your video, I attended Kennesaw University, and lived in Marieta, back forty years ago. Good trips

  10. is more expensive a RV than a hotel definitive

  11. Great video Robert, next time you come to Atlanta reach out to me.

  12. Hi Robert, thank you for posting Helen video, we were wondering when you would post it, now we know that you did not have a good experience there, it was just bad timing, you went in the middle of oktoberfest, that little town just gets overcrowded during oktoberfest and ofcourse service will suffer, we have gone there twice and we had very good experiences, I recommend The Unicoi State Park and the Rubi Falls for hiking and enjoying the beautiful sorrounding nature, give it another try, you would not be disappointed. Saludos…..

  13. Thanks for sharing your journey, warts and all. As far as Helen goes, I guess you need to experience once.

  14. The "King and the Queen". Funny how people nickname buildings. Everyone in Kansas City knows where the "Darth Vader Building" is.

  15. I hope you had an opportunity to make it up to UNICOI State Park. It's great. Nice camping, nice hotel, nice hikes. Will you be able to get over to Ellijay for some camping? Any plans to get up to VA?

  16. Goooooood forenoon!! I thought that Marriott Atrium was super cool!!! Made me a bit dizzy looking up…would loved to ride on them glass elevators!!!

Well after seeing Helen GA, I am like wow I would not go there with all that crowds…and you did give it a polite "bad" review. I am sure you seen, smelled, observed much more than what you filmed. Me personally, I would have left the restaurant after 20 mins with no food–but that's me, unless the wait staff informed me it would take over an hour to get your food…

And seeing you had issues with this segment of your trip…hey, look on the bright side, it was an adventure!!

  17. I live 2 miles away from the King and Queen, and yes the restaurant by the river is a better choice, it has great food

  18. Helen Georgia…. <—–BUST!!! Always enjoy all your videos. You do great explaining of all the areas and the little things we need to know. Thanks!

  19. Thank for the heads up on Helen Ga, I'll stick with the Key's.

  20. Investing in a differential locker for your rear axle might be worthwhile if your going to be off pavement a lot. A cheap mechanical one is around a $200 option when buying a new truck and can be installed aftermarket for about $500. It locks your rear wheels together when it detects one of them spinning. It's almost as good as having 4 wheel drive but not quite. My truck is a 4 wheel drive but it also has a rear locker. Most of the time the locker is enough making me rarely have to reach for the 4 wheel drive shifter.

  21. Enjoyed as always. Good old I-75 through Atlanta. As crazy as those lanes and traffic are, it always exhilarates me as it means I am getting closer to my beloved Florida!

  22. Did you experience discrimination Robert, I notice you were "disappointed" with the service a lot ? If you did you should just say it that way we can expect to see it or just avoid those areas

  23. Troll under the bridge is were we went in Helen Georgia, and we went in season, my family is 30 minute drive away in alto behind the im missing my 2nd home Georgia.
