LeBron James SLAMMED following Atlanta Hawks loss – Lakers fans ‘should be panicked’. The Lakers were stunned by the Atlanta Hawks last night, losing 117-113.
James finished with a triple double, ending up with 28 points, 16 assists and 11 rebounds.
However, the three-time NBA champions couldn’t guide the Lakers past the Hawks, who have won just 19 games this season.
James returned from a groin injury earlier this month that sidelined him for 17 games.
And Parker hit out at James and the Lakers following their loss against Atlanta, claiming ‘The King’ is struggling to dominate like he once did.
“You could say it’s an affect from the injury and he’s still not there, but he doesn’t look that good to me,” Parker said on Fox Sports’ The Undisputed.
“I know he put up numbers, he filled the stat sheet.
“He’s not that player and this is not that team.
“Everybody thought he was magical and the Lakers have the young core and these guys are going to do something.
“They’ve lost eight of 11 and LeBron’s back now.
“I told you, they painted themselves in such a bad corner where their margin of error is so slim.
“I’m more convinced than ever that LeBron James will not make the playoffs.
“You’re living in the past Chris, this is not the Eastern Conference where LeBron could just roll out and win games.
“You can’t beat the Atlanta Hawks in a game you had to win? You don’t rally back and go all out to beat the Hawks?
“If you’re a Laker fan, you should be panicked, you should be sickened.”
The Lakers have lost eight of their last 11 games.
James and co return to action on Thursday night against the Houston Rockets (3:30am tip off).
