Small-cell broadband bill gains final passage in General Assembly

Legislation making it easier for telecommunications companies to roll out small-cell wireless broadband service in Georgia gained final passage in the General Assembly Monday,

The bill, which had cleared the state Senate last month, passed the House of Representatives 159-3. Monday’s overwhelming vote sends the measure to Gov. Brian Kemp for his signature.
